About the Opportunity


A recycling plant in Strasburg, Virginia is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily production operations, drive safety and accountability, and ensure the team consistently meets key performance indicators.


This role is ideal for a hands-on plant leader who can maintain a strong floor presence, manage production teams, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing or recycling environment.


The Production Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager and play a key role in improving output, cost control, waste reduction, machine utilization, team performance, and overall operational efficiency.


What You’ll Do


● Lead and manage production teams to ensure safe, efficient daily operations

● Oversee production activities to meet targets for output, waste, cost control, and machine utilization

● Maintain a strong leadership presence on the production floor

● Ensure production procedures are current, consistent, and followed across all processes

● Drive safety culture and compliance with safety, environmental, and labor requirements

● Track, monitor, and improve KPIs across production operations

● Analyze production data to identify operational improvements
