About the Role:

  • Meet with clients to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment
  • Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training, and documentation
  • Willing to be hands-on in producing tangible deliverables (design deliverables, status reports, project plans)
  • Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts of application design, support, and practice development efforts.
  • Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancement, and how-to assistance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, and record types for the assigned capability area
  • Develop Flow-based automation: record-triggered flows, screen flows, subflows, before/after save contexts, and invocable actions supporting the assigned feature area
  • Build Lightning Web Components (LWC) for user-facing views, dashboards, and interactive features in the assigned capability area
  • Participate in code reviews, author unit test cases, and support QA/Test engineers
  • Participate in spring planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and user engagement sessions
  • Write clean, documented code in relevant languages and frameworks
  • Follow secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices
  • Contribute to technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Working proficiency across Apex, Flow Builder automation, and LWC development
  • Experience working in two-week sprint cadence with defined sprint gate quality controls
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing applications for federal or DoD clients
  • Experience on Salesforce Government Cloud or OpsEA platform
  • Experience with CRM Analytics dataflows and dashboards
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret or TS/SCI)

Target Salary Range 

Compensation for roles at Synergy is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the requirements of the role; level of experience; education and certifications; the individual’s combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities; as well as alignment with market data, federal and state laws, and other business and contract considerations. The estimated pay range for this position is: $80,000 – $120,000. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and represent just one component of Synergy’s total compensation package for employees.
