Overview

LMI is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support the redesign, development, and modernization of SharePoint and Knowledge Management sites. A successful Power Platform Developer will be experienced with five (5) or more years of using SharePoint and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate) software for automation, documentation, and reporting.  The SharePoint Developer will be able to leverage the Agile Way of Working to engage stakeholders and meet customers' needs.  A successful SharePoint Developer will be detail oriented, possess the management skills to hold people accountable to quality expectations and timelines, and respond quickly to evolving client needs. A background in digital transformation, development, and/or User Experience/Human Centered Design is highly desired.

Responsibilities

This position requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design:
    • Analyze business requirements to identify SharePoint-based solutions
    • Design and develop SharePoint solutions, including custom workflows, web parts, and applications to modernize legacy solutions
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their needs
  • Development:
    • Develop SharePoint solutions using SharePoint development frameworks (e.g., .NET, PowerShell, Power Platform)
    • Create custom web parts, workflows, and other components to extend SharePoint functionality
    • Integrate SharePoint with other systems and applications
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Test and debug SharePoint solutions to ensure they meet quality standards
    • Perform unit, integration, and system testing
    • Provide technical support for SharePoint applications
  • Maintenance and Support:
    • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for SharePoint solutions
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint applications
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint technologies and best practices
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for SharePoint solutions
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience developing SharePoint solutions
  • Strong understanding of Power Platform architecture, development frameworks, and best practices
  • Proficiency in .NET, C#, PowerShell, and other relevant programming languages
  • Experience with SharePoint workflows, web parts, and custom applications
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and database design
  • Experience with SharePoint and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate) software for automation, documentation, and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Must possess an active Secret clearance 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Organizational change management understanding and/or certifications
  • Experience with Human Centered Design principles and methodologies
  • Experience with 508 compliance requirements
  • Previous experience within the government contracting space
  • Previous experience in DoW

Target Salary Range: $100,000 - 170,000. 

Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
