Job description

Job Description:

MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experiencedย Order Selectorย located inย Charlotte, NC. Our client is a Food industry leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability

Role Summary / Overview

Responsible for accurately selecting, labeling, palletizing, and staging customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires safe operation of warehouse equipment, adherence to productivity and accuracy standards, and the ability to work in fluctuating temperatures.

Duties:

Operate electric pallet jack, order picker (cherry picker), and reach truck or sit-down forklift as assigned

Select and palletize products from warehouse racking using RF scanning technology

Label products accurately and stack pallets according to safety and quality standards

Stage completed pallets at designated dock locations and stretch-wrap for shipment

Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and maintain assigned equipment

Assist with warehouse organization, racking adjustments, and re-racking projects as needed

Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment

Ability to liftย 40โ€“60 lbs. unassisted

Ability to work at a consistent, fast pace for the full shift

Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required as business needs dictate

Required Skills / Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Experience operating warehouse equipment (electric pallet jack, order picker, reach truck forklift)

Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management systems preferred

Ability to meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards
