Job description

Role Overview

Sodexo is looking for our next General Manager - School/Child Nutrition to manage food service operations at Montrose County School District in beautiful Colorado.

Candidates must demonstrate strong budgeting expertise, exceptional client relationship management, and a proven ability to engage and motivate employees.

This role is responsible for overseeing all daily food service operations, including-but not limited to-staff scheduling, training, HR functions, menu development, ordering, pointofsale management, catering services, and special events.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, an effective public speaker, and proficient in computer applications such as MS Office, pointofsale platforms, payroll systems, and related operational software.

What You'll Do
  • have oversight of day-to-day operations;

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's degree with academic major in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 4 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience
