SPA has a near-tem opening for a Contracts Administrator.
Responsibilities
Duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:
  • Administers and manages company contracts, monitoring contract transactions from negotiation to close-out.
  • Ensures that contracts, modifications, and agreements comply with relevant legal requirements, contract specifications, and government regulations.
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of contract terms and conditions.
  • Provide timely support to management and proposal team to facilitate the review of solicitation and identifying questions.
  • Prepare worksheets and perform calculations in support of contract activities.
  • Establish and maintain excellent internal and external relationships with Program Managers, Customers, and other departments.
  • Resolve issues affecting company compliance and ensure satisfication of legal requirements, company and customer objectives.
  • Develop and maintain electronic file management of all contract related documents.

Qualifications
About the Must Haves
  • US Citizenship + active TS/SCI security clearance
  • 8+ years of related work experience with MA/MS degree or higher (additional years of relevant experience may be substituted) in STEM, Business, Contract Administration, Statistics, International Relations, Military Studies, Political Science, National Security, Government Economics, Pre-law/Law, or related field of study
  • Superior interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Able to effectively manage time and collaborate across a diverse set of department priorities
  • Recognized expert at developing briefs and reports for leadership team review
  • Additional qualifications as needed by organization requirements
  • Ability to report to designated work location in El Segundo, CA, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer
