Job description

Role: Brand Merchandising Analyst โ€“ Retail Planning & Merchandising

Location: Portland, OR (PHK) โ€“ Onsite

Duration: 4+ Months Contract


We are seeking a Brand Merchandising Analyst to join a dynamic Equipment & Accessories merchandising team supporting North America. This is an excellent opportunity for a merchandising professional who enjoys turning retail data into business insights and helping drive assortment and purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze retail and merchandising data to support purchasing and assortment decisions.
  • Work with merchandising teams to optimize inventory, seasonal buys, and product performance.
  • Utilize Excel and large datasets to identify trends and business opportunities.
  • Monitor retail KPIs including stock-to-sales ratios, seasonal returns, inventory performance, and other merchandising metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support merchandising strategies and business growth.
  • Provide insights based on consumer behavior, retail trends, and marketplace performance.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Merchandise Operations, Fashion, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in retail merchandising, buying, or merchandise planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail math, including:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.


Preferred Qualifications
