Job description

Contract to hire position. Our client in Tell City IN is looking to contract mechanical maintenance technicians and then onboard them into their organization within 30 to 60 days. Candidates must have strong hands-on mechanical maintenance experience and be comfortable working independently in a demanding foundry environment. Relevant experience may include bearings, drives, alignment, welding, and other heavy-industrial maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Education, equivalent experience, or actively pursuing a degree in Maintenance related field, minimum High School Diploma/GED equivalent with additional certifications a bonus (e.g. welding)
  • Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift
  • Dependable and responsible, positive work attitude
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, while working without supervision
  • Must be proficient in the following:
     - Welding
     - Hydraulics
     - Pneumatics
     - Fabrication/Fasteners
     - Blueprint reading
     - Power transmission repair
     - Machine repair

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent

Our client offers a competitive benefits package. and up to $4,000 in relocation assistance for qualifying individuals relocating more than 50 miles . Out of state relocation in the State of Indiana may offer an additional $7,000.


Tell City IN is half way between Evansville and Louisville. This is a rural environment with lots of opportunities for outdoor activities all year around and a great place to bring up kids.
