Canton Mancan is assisting a loal company in filling an elecrical technichian position
Shift 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday Pay rate is $26.00 an hour
This position supervises the Electronics Division as pertains to the Contract Manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies, cable harness, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Performs engineering duties while assisting the Contract Manufacturing Manager
to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable operations.
Must be able to read electrical schematics.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 Oversees production and engineering as it pertains to Electro Mechanical functions for Contract Manufacturing.
2. Assembles product per work order instructions as well as sets up assembly stations for production workers.
3. Assists with estimates compiled for Electro Mechanical Assemblys for submission to the Contract Manufacturing Manager.
4. Assist Manufacturing Engineers in locating sources for component parts.
5. Special Projects as directed by the Contract Manufacturing Manager.
6. Lend manufacturing engineering support to production as required.
7. Assist Contract Manufacturing Manager in coordinating Electro Mechanical Assembly production effort.
8. Ability to lift up to fifty pounds. Mobility requirements include standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate degree /Electronic Engineering. a minimum of 5 years experience in the field of electro-mechanical assembly. Must also have prior experience in quality control / inspection processes and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE: Oral communication skills are necessary to supervise and communicate with engineering, purchasing, and production personnel. Written skills are necessary (test procedures, etc.). The ability to use the telephone, email, and ERP system for purchasing and gathering job related information.
