Job Summary:
The role supports Northeast Communications of Wisconsin and its subsidiaries by managing legal, contract, and regulatory compliance activities. Responsibilities include ensuring FCC compliance, providing guidance on new rulings, managing contract renewals, and handling legal documentation. Key skills required are excellent communication, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to manage a heavy workload. The position demands a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and proficiency in using personal computers and legal filing systems.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage regulatory compliance, including executing new rulings and maintaining adherence to existing ones.
- Provide guidance on interpreting regulatory rulings and compliance requirements.
- Oversee the contract management system, ensuring timely renewals and communication with relevant parties.
- Prepare, review, and revise agreements with vendors and customers.
- Support legal documentation, court filings, and responses to subpoenas, audits, and other legal matters.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certification with 2+ years of paralegal experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in personal computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, Excel, Word, and electronic court filings.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage a heavy workload and prioritize multiple projects.
