Trade Program Contract Manager
About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Trade Program Contracts Manager to lead the administration of trade program contracts within JTI Liggett. This role sits within the Finance function and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of approximately $340MM in promotional trade spending that supports our products across the US marketplace.
As a key leader, you will manage and develop a team of up to five professionals, ensuring robust internal controls, operational excellence, and strong collaboration with Sales, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
This position plays a critical role in balancing business agility with risk management, maintaining policy compliance, and continuously improving systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Trade Program Contract Management
  • Oversee the end-to-end administration of trade program contracts.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in contract processing and documentation.
  • Lead contract renewals and support implementation of new trade programs.

Policy Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to local and global policies related to trade spending and contract governance.
  • Regularly review policies to balance commercial effectiveness with sound risk management practices.
  • Educate employees on policy application and monitor compliance.

Customer & Stakeholder Support
  • Deliver exceptional internal customer service by managing and resolving incoming contract-related inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with Field Sales and other commercial teams to support efficient contract processing and execution.

Systems & Process Optimization
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements to improve contract workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with IT and Sales teams to implement system improvements and process innovations.

People Leadership
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven work environment.
  • Support the professional growth and development of direct and indirect reports.

Requirements:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required; Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.

Experience & Skills
  • Professional office experience with progressive responsibility.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing diverse teams in a high-volume, collaborative environment.
  • Experience within tobacco or other FMCG/CPG industries preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management processes, systems, and internal controls.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (intermediate/advanced), Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
