Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Review, analyze and accurately interpret government and commercial contractual documents and develop any necessary modifications to the clients' contract language
  • Process U.S Government (though WAWF as required) and non-Government contract from receipt through completion
  • Verify U.S Government and non-Government contract requirements (including Ts and Cs a, Q Notes and FAR requirements)
  • Review and interpret implications of contractual FARs and recommend changes if necessary
  • Understand how terms and conditions affect prices and schedules and provide associated guidance to proposal team
  • Address contract, business and legal risks, review and address insurance requirements
  • Negotiate, define and execute contracts in compliance with customer requirements
  • Participate in proposal preparation, ensure compliance with Government/customer RFP requirements, offer solutions to mitigate contractual/Program/audit risks, address contract, business, and legal risks, review and address insurance requirements
  • Develop negotiation strategies

Required Recent Experience / Knowledge:
  • Master's degree in Business or related field
  • 8-10 years' experience drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with Government, commercial, and international customers
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of FAR and DCAA accounting guidelines/procedures and the US contract law
  • Extensive experience with Terns and Conditions, non-Disclosures Agreements and other contract documents
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent ability to recognize, evaluate and offer mitigation alternatives for business risks including contractual, financial performance and schedule
  • Excellent ability to work within a team, fostering teamwork and trust with both external and internal customers
  • Excellent ability to develop and maintain customer relationships based on professionalism, responsiveness and ethical conduct
  • Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
