Test Engineer
The Opportunity:
When an Air Force or Navy user tries new sof tware, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. That's why we need you, an experience d test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test sof tware and work with develop ers to make sure our team releases the best sof tware possible.
As a Test Engineer on our Space Force team, you'll use your experience to work with develop ers and engineers to evaluate sof tware develop ed for national defense. You'll create test plans with test cases based on user stories and requirements. Using automated and manual processes, you'll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the sof tware performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the develop ment team so they can start improving the tool.

You Have:

• Experience performing requirements analysis, synthesis, and t race ability for shall statement and supplemental fields evaluation, including test met hod and success criteria
• Experience verifying and validating system requirements and performance in operationally representative environments, including participation in military exercises, field tests, or wargames
• Experience with using Micro sof t Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Knowledge of DoD Instructions 5000.87 and 5000.89
• Ability to lead a small team to successful goal execution
• Ability to write high-level programmatic test documentation, including Test Execution Strategy and Test & Evaluation Master Plan
• Ability to develop and execute Detailed Test Procedures for Develop mental and Operational Test Events
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Confluence or Jira
• Experience with radar system operations or radar modeling
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience interfacing with formal government test organizations, including 17TES or JITC
• Knowledge of sof tware deployment and troubleshooting processes in DevSecOps pipelines, including Platform 1 or DAFCw
• Ability to run and evaluate complex simulation frameworks
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Physics, or Information Technology
• Security+ Certification
• Docker or Kubernetes Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
