Summary:

The Aftermarket Associate is responsible for performing packaging, labeling, and inventory functions for aftermarket orders in accordance with the SAP inventory management system. This second-shift role (Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM) involves pulling and putting away products based on customer orders, inspecting items for quality, monitoring inventory levels, and providing support across AFM Packaging, Auditing, Logistics, and Repack operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out packaging and labeling functions for aftermarket orders in a prompt manner in accordance with the SAP inventory management system.
  • Execute put away and pulling functions based on customer orders.
  • Work closely with the inventory auditor and shift supervisors to monitor supply and product inventory levels and recommend reorders on a regular basis.
  • Issue work order-based components and supplies to the AFM Packing area.
  • Maintain first in/first out supply route.
  • Provide emergency support to AFM Packaging and AFM Auditing as required.
  • Support operations in Logistics, AFM, and Repack as required.
  • Pack product per appropriate work instructions.
  • Record all inventory transactions promptly and verify accuracy.
  • Inspect product per work instructions to assure level of quality.
  • Transport product via JLG, manual and electric pallet jack as required.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment and rack areas to ensure suitable working conditions.
  • Report any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Promptly report any abnormalities to management.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
  • Overtime and shift changes as necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures which include IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, QMS, and Safety related policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to operate scanners, desktop scales, and related equipment.
  • Effective communication and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Basic math skills with the ability to read labels and numbers.
  • Able to perform data entry as required.
  • Able to follow instructions and established procedures.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Able to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Inventory and warehousing experience preferred.
  • Vocational or technical certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to see and hear (correctable).
  • Able to communicate verbally.
  • Safety shoes and hi-vis required.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Able to lift 51-75 lbs. with assistance.
