Job description

Overview

This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.


Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of non conformance notifications and to verify or validate compliance with Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements, or government regulations.
  • Verify and take actions required to confirm customer contractual requirements are met for dispositioning and reviewing non conformances as a delegated member of the Material Review Board (MRB) such as requirements for corrective action, structurally and functionally
  • Use as is dispositions, acceptable rework/repair, and suspected delivered discrepancies.
  • Monitor/Audit MRB crib inventory records and ensure actions are taken by crib owners to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and maintain quality notification records to prevent aging.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2 years experience in Quality with a Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years experience in Quality without a Degree
  • Read/Write Airplane Coordinates
  • Understand RCCA
  • Production and assembly knowledge
  • Can do Attitude
  • Industry Experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Auditing Skills
