Job Title: Inventory Analyst II

Job ID: JDJP00013411

Location: 2624 N. US Highway 169, PO Box 577, Coffeyville, Kansas, 67337

Duration: 12 months contract to start with, will extend as needed

  • Implements inventory audits and other related inventory transactions to measure accuracy
  • Compiles inventory audit requirements with Deere and other companies. Works out reports of inventory
  • Supervises/Work Directs salary and/or wage personnel (Cycle Counters lower level Inventory Analyst)

Duties:

  • Monitors and coordinates various manufacturing and/or materials processes to insure they are functional designed e.g. Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Process cycle counting process or disposition of excess material
  • Works to resolve inventory related questions and issues e.g. participating in factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy
  • Coordinates and analyzes daily monthly and/or annual inventory audits e.g. engine audits or audits to test the financial accuracy
  • Prepares and reviews various perpetual inventory reports
  • Provides work direction and/or coaching as necessary to less experienced personnel; ensures completion of administrative support to the Human Resources
  • Coordinates department(s) schedule performance for procuring, expediting, producing and delivering material on time. Includes managing the movement of rejected material to source
  • Recommends procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management
  • Finds root cause of material shortages
  • May provide recommendations for solutions
  • Utilizes Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules
  • May include the processing of transactions for inbound/outbound materials
  • Audits material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance
  • Counts and resolves inventory errors and expedites parts to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Works critical shortage reports to ensure part availability

Qualifications:

  • Competencies, technical skills, formal education and relevant work experience critical for successful individual performance of essential functions
  • Manager prefers candidates with 2 year degree
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Business casual dress code
  • Will need metatarsals for first day
