This role will lead cross‑functional initiatives that align with our GTM strategy and support our strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional judgment and business insight, be comfortable, effective, and persuasive in dealing with customers, partners, senior management, and legal partners, and serve as an innovative change agent to drive process and cultural innovation.

  • Innovate and operationalize the legal approach and legal strategy for Healthcare and new types of strategic relationships.
  • Provide proactive strategic advice and guidance to internal teams regarding business and legal issues and risks.
  • Assist in implementing legal efficiencies to support the Healthcare business unit and improve our contract processes and operations in that segment.
  • Help build and improve contract templates and negotiation playbooks and provide internal training to Healthcare sales, services operations, contract operations, and the broader GTM legal team on how we can create a streamlined contract experience.
  • Partner effectively with deal operations, sales, finance, revenue recognition, risk management, product legal, privacy, security, and contracts operations, as well as managing external legal counsel as required.
About You Basic Qualifications

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in‑office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote “home office” roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Equal Employment Opportunity

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
