About the Company:
Vintner's Distributors is the corporate arm for Au Energy, Loop Neighborhood Market, and Poppy Market and is based in Union City, CA, with stores and stations across California. The company was founded in 1978 and develops real estate and owns and operates gas stations with convenience stores and car washes. It also has a wholesale division that delivers fuel to dealer locations in the market.
Position Overview:
Become a Wholesale Fuel Business Manager for one of the largest, growing, entrepreneurial companies who has been a part of the branded wholesale fuels and convenience store/gas station landscape.
This position is responsible for driving the growth of company branded wholesale fuels by generating new business opportunities, prospecting for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, personal visits, meetings or other means of generating interest from potential clients. This person builds a market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

Responsibilities:
• Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identifying and pursuing new wholesale fuel customers, including commercial unbranded sales and regional branded/unbranded site operators.
• Business Development: Developing and implementing strategies to expand the company's wholesale petroleum footprint.
• Sales and Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with wholesale petroleum customers, understanding their needs, and providing excellent customer service.
• Contract Negotiation: Leading contract negotiations and facilitating the execution of business agreements.
• Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the wholesale petroleum industry.
• Strategic Planning: Contributing to the development of overall business development strategies and plans.
• Financial Evaluations: Evaluating the financial viability of potential business opportunities.
• Positioning the Company: Positioning the company competitively in the market.
• Persuasion and Communication: Possessing strong persuasion and communication skills to effectively engage with potential customers .
• Targeted Marketing: Employing a targeted marketing approach to grow wholesale contract fuel sales .
Requirements
• 3-5 years of Wholesale Fuel Business Development experience
• This position requires reliable transportation as well as maintaining valid and current auto liability insurance and valid driver's license as a condition of employment. Losing eligibility or failing to renew your auto insurance or driver licenses for any reason, your employment may be terminated.
• All prospective employees must pass a background check.
• Work locations: Bay Area with local residency in those areas strongly preferred
