Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Travel nursing experience: required
- RN with valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Proficiency in Epic charting system
- Key clinical skills: ventilator management, IV starts, central/PICC line care, administration of vasoactive drips, blood product administration, ABG interpretation, EVD/ICP familiarity, post-cardiac surgery care
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in various adult ICUs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in critical care settings.
Compliance / Notes
- Fingerprinting must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start.
- Return to Office required with submission; must be built into contract.
- Flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only).
