Contract Financial Analyst

Overview:

TSA, Inc. is looking for a Contract Financial Analyst to provide administrative and technical support for the day-to-day operations of the business with assigned Program/Project Manager(s).

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Set up, track, and report various projects (includes guidance and roll-up data for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly data calls)
  • Assist in the development of forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Identify and confirm requirements with the Contracts Manager and the Program/Project Manager(s) to include reporting and invoicing obligations and other items that may affect the project's set up
  • Set up and maintain assigned projects based on project requirements and in compliance with the Company's set up rules to ensure the proper recognition of revenue.
  • Monitor work-at-risk projects and ensure compliance with the Company's work-at-risk and revenue-at-risk policies.
  • Monitor the ceiling, funding and expenditures of various contracts, subcontracts and/or projects. Notify the Contracts Manager when any project reaches the threshold for Limitation of Funds or Limitation of Cost notifications.
  • Review actual project expenses for accuracy and completeness. Identify and remedy miscodings to ensure the proper recognition of revenue.
  • Coordinate with the Program/Project Manager(s) on a monthly or quarterly basis to prepare updated cost estimates to complete (ETC) for revenue recognition. Regularly monitor ETC for reasonableness against plans and actual expense rate.
  • Prepare and provide assorted reports for internal and/or external customers
  • Provide monthly reconciliation of billed/unbilled vs. revenue activity including researching unexplained reconciling items
  • Ensure compliance with company's financial policies and procedures including revenue recognition policies and project set up rules
  • Process expense reports through SAP Concur to ensure timely payments for Foreign Liaison Officers
  • Audit expense requests and reports for government and corporate policy compliance and per diem allowance
  • Act as travel and expense customer service liaison for Foreign Liaison Officers.

Qualifications Required:

  • One year of experience in a directly related field (i.e. federal government contracting, project control).
  • Experience assisting with meeting planning, scheduling and travel coordination.
  • Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven project financial management experience (to include budgeting, reporting and analysis) preferably in a project-based organization.
  • Ability to assess, interpret and apply government and industry standards, specifications and handbooks to the unique requirements of tasking.
  • Competent with MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Charting, Formulas, functions, etc.).
  • Knowledge and understanding of Joint Travel Regulation and travel policy for contractors.
  • Experience in travel and expense reimbursement processes and services.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications Desired:

  • Experience with travel platform SAP Concur
  • Experience with JAMIS or Deltek Costpoint accounting system
  • Posses background working with multiple contract types and applicable FAR and DFAR clauses.
  • Pricing experience
  • Posses working knowledge of contracts administration.

TSA is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employees. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
