Mid-Sized Public Accounting Firm

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or EA (Enrolled Agent) with 3-5 years of public accounting experience to join our growing team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client base in a collaborative and professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and nonprofit tax returns.
  • Assist clients with tax planning and compliance matters.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and related reports.
  • Provide accounting, bookkeeping, and consulting services to clients.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding tax and accounting matters.
  • Research tax issues and stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Support partners and managers on various client engagements and special projects.

Qualifications

  • CPA license or EA required (or actively pursuing CPA certification/EA).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3-5 years of public accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Experience with UltraTax tax preparation software.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
