Job description

LMI is seeking a highly skilledย Facilities and Infrastructure Project Managerย to provideย Integrated Product Support (IPS)ย services for theย Apache Attack Helicopter (AAH) Project Office (PO). This position supports the development, production, fielding, and sustainment of the AH-64 Apache by managing facility and infrastructure projects critical to training, maintenance, and storage operations.ย 

The Facilities and Infrastructure Project Manager will oversee analysis, planning, and implementation of facility and infrastructure improvements to support Apache systems. The role is focused on optimizing operations while ensuring adherence to environmental, security, and operational standards, as well as minimizing costs andย Time of Completion (TOC).

Infrastructure Project Management:

  • Manage projects related to facility and infrastructure improvements for Apache systems, ensuring alignment with lifecycle support and program goals.ย 
  • Develop strategies and timelines to minimize costs andย TOCย while maintaining quality standards.

Facilities Studies and Analysis:

  • Oversee studies to define necessary facility types, space requirements, locations, equipment specifications, and compliance with environmental and security regulations.ย 
  • Provide input and recommendations for both permanent and semi-permanent infrastructure solutions.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Collaborate directly with multidisciplinary teams, government personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to align projects with program objectives.ย 
  • Ensure seamless integration of infrastructure solutions across training, maintenance, and storage functions to maximize operational effectiveness.

Reporting and Progress Monitoring:

  • Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with performance standards outlined in applicable regulations.ย 
  • Provide regular status updates, metrics, and deliverables aligned withย Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)ย to all stakeholders.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all environmental considerations and security requirements for infrastructure planning and execution as dictated by Army standards and DoD policies.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Active Secret security clearance.ย 
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.ย 
  • 8+ years of professional relevant experience, with at least 2+ years working with Aviation and automation, or intelligent systems.ย 
  • Proven experience inย project management, particularly for facilities and infrastructure planning within military or defense operations.ย 
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills to manage complex projects responsibly and efficiently.ย 
  • Familiarity withย real property asset managementย and infrastructure requirements for Apache systems-related training, maintenance, and storage.ย 
  • Knowledge of applicableย environmental complianceย andย security standardsย for military facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting theย Apache Attack Helicopterย and its associated logistics processes.ย 
  • Understanding of cost-effective solutions that reduce lifecycle costs while ensuring operational readiness.ย 
  • Familiarity with Army-approved tools likeย Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)ย and planning systems for infrastructure.ย 
  • Background in drafting and implementing studies such asย Materiel Fielding Plans (MFPs)ย andย System Support Management Plans (SSMPs).

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance. Only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
