Job description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Performs difficult work overseeing all activitiesassociated with the design and construction of Town projects; provides technicaland supervisory guidance for a staff of engineering and surveying techniciansand other professionals; works with engineers, surveyors, and contractors toensure projects conform to Town ordinances and specifications. Work includesdesigning infrastructure improvements related to streets and utilities; developingdesign plans; providing specifications for Town construction projects; estimatingand budgeting for projects and operating costs of division; and creating andadministering construction contracts.

This position reports to the Transportation & InfrastructureDirector.
This position has supervisoryresponsibilities.
