Overview of position:
We are looking for a Project Manager/Contract Manager - Level IV work San Antonio TX.
The PM will be responsible for the performance of the work. The name of this person and an alternate who shall act for the contractor when the manager is absent shall be designated in writing to the CO and COR. The contract manager or alternate shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. The contract manager or alternate shall be available and on-site in San Antonio, TX, between the hours of 0730 and 1630 (Central US Time), Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays or when the government facility is closed for administrative reasons. The alternate contract manager may be another DDSB IT-SP employee who acts in the contract manager's absence.
Responsible for managing the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Domain and Directory Services Branch (DDSB) contract by building and leading a team of staff members to successfully execute the contract. Provides strategic-level program/project management, leadership, and counsel to the DDSB Chief, front office, and four section chiefs. Researches, analyzes, and compiles data enabling the production of reports for the delivery of Health Information Technology (HIT) services across the DHA enterprise.
Plans, initiates, and manages information technology projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Level IV performs more independent thinking, complex tasks with little to no supervision compared to a Level III and may supervise others.
An active Public Trust clearance and a United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.
This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award.
Responsibilities and Key Tasks
  • Serves as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer and multiple government branch chiefs, ensuring projects and deliverables are provided in the most efficient and effective manner.

  • Active Public Trust Clearance is required.
  • Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC'S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
