Job description

Location: Remote - Thousand Oaks, CA (PST preferred)
Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)
Contract Length: 4 months (possible extension)
Compensation: $27/$31 per hour (based on experience)
Summary of the Role
Join a contract development team at a critical time, supporting provider agreement administration during high-volume Q4 periods. You will review and distribute contracts, maintain records within Conga CLM, and ensure thorough documentation and quality control. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential materials independently while managing competing deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review fully executed provider agreements for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation
  • Coordinate timely distribution of executed provider contracts to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records, metadata, and document files in Conga CLM and related systems
  • Perform quality control of signatures, attachments, file naming, and executed-document packages
  • Prepare clear and professional internal and customer email communications about contract execution
  • Monitor execution queues, prioritize urgent deliverables, and escalate risks or delays as needed
  • Support high-volume activities (notices, amendments, letters, and other execution-related deliverables)
  • Assist with tracking, reporting, and document organization to improve workload visibility
  • Provide limited, scheduled support to Payer Contract Development for project tracking, status updates, and administrative coordination
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company procedures and document-management requirements

Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, document management, or comparable high-volume business-support roles
  • Excellent organizational, written communication, and follow-through skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and know when to seek guidance or escalate issues

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Conga CLM, DocuSign, or similar contract lifecycle and e-signature tools
  • Support experience in commercial contracting, legal, market access, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries
  • Working knowledge of healthcare contracting principles and cross-functional processes (legal, compliance, government pricing, operations)
  • Experience with status tracking, reporting, or coordination across cross-functional teams

Top 3 Must Have Skills
1. Demonstrated hands-on, high-volume contract administration with accuracy and quality control
2. Proficiency with contract systems such as Conga CLM or DocuSign
3. Strong organizational skills and professional communication; ability to manage priorities independently
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Review and distribute provider discount commercial contracts to stakeholders
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in contract lifecycle processes, including contract delivery and data entry
  • Support Contract Development Writers with administrative tasks and Conga CLM data entry

Basic Qualifications
  • High school/GED plus 2 years work experience
  • Associates degree and 6 months work experience
  • Bachelors
