Job Title: Deskside Support Technician
Location: Washington, DC

SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Work Model: Onsite โ€“ onsite

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical assistance in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment. This role will support end-users with Windows, hardware, software, and basic network issues, including troubleshooting system crashes and Blue Screen errors. The technician will also handle desktop imaging, equipment setup, configuration, documentation, and issue escalation. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of desktop support experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Assist end-users with Windows issues, including troubleshooting Blue Screen of Death errors.
  • Provide hands-on support for hardware and software problems in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
  • Perform desktop imaging, setup, and configuration as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain documentation of support activities and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company and security policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of technical experience or training in a desktop support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to handle hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Experience working in a 100% on-site support environment.
