Job Summary

We are currently seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager for immediate employment in our Carmel, Indiana office. Successful candidate will have demonstrated professional experience in structural engineering, specific to bridge design. Projects include participation in a wide variety of bridge and highway structure related assignments ranging from simple highway grade crossings bridges to complex bridge design.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and check bridge design and analysis computations
  • Prepare construction plans for roadway and other transportation related structures using MicroStation.
  • Develop contract documents such as specifications and review of construction documents such as shop drawings or contractor requests
  • Provide Technical guidance to entry level engineers


Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus is required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) designation is required (Indiana, Ohio or Kentucky, with a willingness to get additional PE designations if required)
  • Minimum 15 years of experience working as a structural design engineer on bridge projects
  • Experience with design and plan development for DOT and transit projects; INDOT and ODOT preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • Detail oriented with strong skills in structural analysis, steel design and concrete design as it relates to bridges
  • Diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas related to bridge design; foundations design.
  • Diversified knowledge of technology, materials, equipment, design concepts and construction techniques
