Job description

Job Title: Databricks Architect 
Location: Remote – Dallas, Texas
 
Role/Responsibilities
  • Lead the data solutions stream within the program, ensuring timely and quality delivery of data components.   
  • Oversee the development and execution of data solutions, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.   
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure end-to-end data solution integration.   
  • Create and maintain essential project documentation, including solution design, interface contracts, data model design, and technical documents.   
  • Provide guidance and technical advice to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.   
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and external partners.   
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine requirements, identify risks, and address technical challenges.   

Qualifications & Experience 
Minimum Requirements                                                                                                 
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) level experience in Cloud Engineering, specifically with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Delta Lake, and UnityCatalog.   
  • Proficiency in Python, Spark, and PySpark programming.   
  • Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure DevOps, and Azure Storage/Data Lake. 
  • In-depth knowledge of data architecture, ETL processes, data integration, and business intelligence tools.   
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving data initiatives in large-scale projects.   
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.   
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.   
  • Mandatory Requirements: Databricks- Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL)
