Title: Program Assistant - Data Entry Support Specialist

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Location: onsite, Tukwila, WA

Compensation: $20-22

Schedule: Mon-Friday 8-5pm


Overview:

We are seeking a detail‐oriented and reliable Front Desk & Data Entry Support Specialist to provide administrative and front‐office coverage in a healthcare setting. This role is responsible for accurate data entry, efficient management of patient electronic documents, and front desk phone coverage during scheduled breaks for the primary receptionist. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high‐volume, accurate data entry into electronic systems, ensuring patient information and documentation are complete and correctly filed 
  • Assign, scan, and index patient electronic documents promptly and accurately within the electronic health record (EHR) or document management system 
    • Ok to not have, just be able to show they learned other ones. 
  • Provide front desk phone coverage during scheduled breaks, including answering incoming calls, screening inquiries, and routing calls to the appropriate departments or staff 
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner when supporting the front desk 
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and patient privacy standards at all times 
  • Support general administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth front‐office operations 


Required Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or front desk setting 
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced, patient‐focused environment 
  • Professional phone etiquette and clear verbal communication skills 
  • Comfort working with electronic systems and document management tools 
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively 


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or patient document systems 
  • Experience handling multi‐line phones or high call volume environments 


Compensation

$20/hr to $22/hr. 

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. 

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
