The Senior COMSEC Engineer provides full life-cycle Information Technology (IT) support across multiple customer environments, ensuring the protection of information systems from unauthorized access, disclosure, or use. This role is responsible for implementing, managing, and enforcing COMSEC policies and procedures in support of mission-critical programs.What you will do:
  • Orchestrate organizational adherence to COMSEC policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and agency requirements.
  • Engineer, deploy, and integrate high-assurance cryptographic hardware.
  • Manage sustainment of cryptographic device fleets and lifecycle refreshes.
  • afeguard physical and electronic keying material.
  • Execute rekeying operations aligned with crypto-periods.
  • Maintain accountability and audit readiness of COMSEC assets.
  • Serve as Lead COMSEC Authority and provide custodian training.
  • Coordinate COMSEC operations with customers and deployment teams.
  • Provide cryptographic integration SME support.
  • Support CONUS-wide mission deployments.
What you will bring:
  • GDMS TACLANE Encryptor Operator Training certified.
  • BS with 8-12 years, MS with 6-10 years, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years IT experience with 2+ years COMSEC.
  • Experience with KG-175F/G/X devices.
  • Familiar with GEMOne and Chimera.
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE).
