Job description

Job Title: Analytical Chemist I Location: Lincoln, NE Type: Contract Compensation: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities

  • Conduct lab experiments under supervision to support analytical chemistry functions.
  • Perform trace impurity analysis using U/HPLC-MS/PDA/FLR, GC-MS/FID.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for chemistry-related issues.
  • Assist in identifying root causes of drug degradation and impurities.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of procedures and documentation.
  • Communicate project status and results to Product Chemistry team and stakeholders.
  • Participate in problem-solving teams to enhance product quality.
  • Ensure adherence to GxP processes, data integrity, and documentation standards.
  • Maintain all required training for assigned activities.
  • Follow EHS and safety protocols.
  • Support validation and maintenance of laboratory equipment as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with analytical techniques such as UPLC-MS, HPLC, GC-MS, PDA, FLR, and FID.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in chemistry and data analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GxP and safety compliance standards.
