The Business Development Manager identifies and pursues new project opportunities by building relationships with current and potential customers, government agencies, consultants, and partners, monitoring upcoming infrastructure construction opportunities, and positioning Skanska to win work. They analyze market trends, assess project feasibility and risk, coordinate with estimating and operations teams and help develop long-term strategies. This role also involved reviewing contracts, maintaining  customer relationships, promoting Skanska, and ensuring a steady pipeline of work.

Project Manager Required Qualifications:

  • 5 - 10 Years experience in a business development capacity in the A/E/C industry   or combination of related experience and education in business/marketing.
  • Must have knowledge of the Arizona transportation/transit market; knowledge of the Arizona mining market a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to network with current and potential customers, as well as internal project executives
  • Able to attend conferences, meet with designers/engineers/owners and potential partners to build a pipeline of projects and a hold a strong understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Marketing or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.
