Business Development & Sales Specialist - Extertior Services
Position Summary
Continuum Services is seeking a Business Development & Sales Specialist - Exterior Services to grow commercial landscaping, snow removal, and exterior maintenance service lines. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new maintenance and seasonal service contracts while building relationships with commercial property decision makers.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct client needs assessments and site evaluations to support accurate proposals and service recommendations.
  • Prepare sales presentations, pricing, proposals, and RFP responses for commercial exterior service opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations, manage objections, and guide opportunities through close.
  • Collaborate with estimating, operations, design, and service delivery teams to support client onboarding and service execution.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and client records in CRM.
  • Participate in industry associations, networking events, trade shows, and client appreciation events.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Support marketing initiatives and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of business development or sales experience, preferably in exterior services, landscaping, snow management, property services, or a related industry.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Proven success closing high-value deals and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with CRM systems, ZoomInfo, CoStar, and sales analytics tools preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, sitting, and computer work.
  • Travel as required, estimated at approximately 10%.
