Job description

Continuous Improvement Technician
 Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Continuous Improvement Technician for a company based in Clanton, AL. In this role, you will support plant-wide operations with facility upkeep, minor repairs, visual controls, and continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced and innovative seat manufacturing organization. 
 
Pay Rate
 $20.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours
 5 00 am to 5 00 pm.
5 00 pm to 5 00 am.
Weekends likely
 
Continuous Improvement Technician Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S principles
  2. Maintain floor markings, signage, labels, and visual indicators
  3. Paint floors, safety zones, walkways, and production areas
  4. Assists CI Team with Project requirements / improvements
  5. Follow all safety procedures. Maintain safe work areas during maintenance and painting tasks
  6. Ability to operate forklifts, Scissor Lift, and other motorized equipment as needed.
  7. All other duties as assigned
 
Continuous Improvement Technician Qualifications and Requirements 
  1. Experience with maintenance, painting, and general labor
  2. Ability to support Lean/5S initiatives
  3. Strong attention to detail
  4. Basic mechanical aptitude
  5. Good communication and teamwork skills
  6. Lift up to 50 lbs
  7. Standing, walking and bending throughout the shift
