    • Conduct ongoing competitive and market analysis to inform portfolio priorities and investment decisions

    • Assess LexisNexis’ competitive position by practice area and identify opportunities for growth, differentiation, and content expansion

    • Identify and evaluate licensing and acquisition opportunities

    • Collaborate with global colleagues (UK, Canada, and beyond) to share insights and unlock cross-border content and commercialization opportunities

  • Portfolio Leadership & Content Development

    • Help lead the strategic direction of the U.S. secondary content portfolio, ensuring it delivers authoritative, high-quality content aligned with customer needs and business goals

    • Ensure content supports AI applications (e.g., Protégé grounding and answer quality), including coverage, authoritative sourcing, rights clearance, and robust metadata

    • Partner closely with Product teams to improve AI content retrieval, accuracy, and user experience

    • Develop and propose annual content development plans for proprietary titles

    • Review and evaluate author proposals for new titles and updates to existing content, ensuring alignment with portfolio strategy and market demand

    • Partner with Editorial Operations on Content Development plans for proprietary and licensed content, such as online placement, packaging, and pricing

  • Commercialization & Go-to-Market

    • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Editorial Operations to develop and execute go-to-market strategies

    • Lead key go-to-market activities, including content development updates, product launches, and sales training

    • Support conference participation, author engagement, and promotion of authoritative brands and titles

    • Ensure clear value positioning and messaging that differentiates our secondary content in a competitive market to drive adoption and customer preference

  • Operational Excellence & Financial Management

    • Ensure compliance with rights, licensing, and internal governance standards, including approval of sources for AI usage

    • Partner with Legal and Editorial teams on licensing terms and content use

    • Support financial performance by aligning portfolio decisions with revenue and profitability goals
