Responsibilities
The Consumer Servicing Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the accurate input, maintenance, and quality control of consumer loans within the Bank's servicing system. This role plays a key part in ensuring loan information is processed correctly, complies with all regulatory and internal guidelines, and meets departmental service level agreements. Through formal training and on-the-job learning, the Specialist develops foundational knowledge of consumer loan products, documentation, and servicing processes. Over time, the individual builds the skills and confidence needed to perform assigned tasks independently while contributing to a positive client and internal partner experience.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $17.00/Hr. - $22.00/Hr.. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled.
Key Accountabilities:
Production
  • Input and upload consumer loan transactions in accordance with established procedures, including direct and indirect loans, renewals, and modifications.
  • Process loan maintenance requests such as auto debit setup or changes and payment corrections.
  • Post loan payments received via wire, check, or ACH into the servicing system.
  • Learn and utilize bank systems and tools (e.g., LoansPQ, Nautilus, Image Centre, Signature) to complete daily responsibilities accurately and efficiently.

Monitoring
  • Complete Pre-booking quality reviews of all consumer loan types for onboarding
  • Monitor and respond to questions or cases submitted by frontline banking center associates, providing guidance or routing items for further review.
  • Maintain balanced work queues and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Problem Solving
  • Research and assist with resolving documentation or servicing issues using available resources and guidance.
  • Communicate issues, discrepancies, or trends to the Supervisor for review and resolution.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and internal partners to support shared department objectives.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business or a related field preferred.
