The Consumer Service InsuranceSpecialist will primarily be tasked with answering questions from consumers andreviewing insurance complaints. This is a great opportunity for individuals whoare detail oriented and have a comprehensive knowledge of health or life insurance. Most of the consumer complaint review work is done independentlywith ample opportunities for collaboration with a larger team to discuss issuesor policy questions as they arise. Organizational skills as well as the ability to clearly communicate compliance issues with companies are integral to the position.

Key Responsibilities- Be professional and provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Advocate for health & life insurance consumers to ensure insurance benefits are compliant and provide required consumer protections.
- Review and analyze health or life insurance complaints to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
- Effectively communicate with insurers regarding complaint findings.
- Individuals with experience in advocating for consumers are preferred.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:- The best qualified candidate for this position will have 3 or more years of experience in the health or life insurance industry
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in insurance contract, products, claims administration, consumer services, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of health or life insurance laws.
- Strong, well-rounded computer and writing skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to read, understand, apply, and explain federal and state laws.
- Ability to speak Spanish, with health or life insurance experience.
