Job Summary

PetPlace is seeking a Growth Product Manager with deep experience building and optimizing consumer-facing digital products. In this role, you will own the endtoend journeys that help new pet parents discover, understand, and engage with PetPlace. You will work directly with consumers through research, testing, and rapid experimentation to uncover insights and translate them into highimpact product improvements. Your work will shape the experiences that drive activation, engagement, and longterm loyalty, positioning PetPlace as the goto destination for new pet parents seeking support, resources, and education.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize consumer-facing journeys across PetPlace.com and our pet adoption flow, ensuring clarity, value, and seamless engagement.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, developing a deep understanding of user personas, motivations, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Conduct direct consumer research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and behavioral analysis to uncover insights that drive product decisions.
  • Design and execute A/B tests, multivariate tests, and rapid experiments to validate hypotheses and improve conversion, activation, and retention.
  • Leverage data to identify opportunities, diagnose friction, and make compelling, insightdriven recommendations.
  • Monitor and report on consumer product KPIs, ensuring transparency and alignment across stakeholders and leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing to concept, scope, and deliver consumercentric features that drive measurable growth.
  • Embrace the MVP mindset, iterating quickly based on user feedback, market signals, and performance data.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience building and optimizing consumer-facing (B2C) digital products.
  • Proven track record owning consumer journeys, funnels, and engagement metrics in a fastpaced environment.
  • Hands-on experience conducting direct consumer research and translating insights into product improvements.
  • Strong background in experimentation, including A/B testing, funnel optimization, and iterative product development.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in consumer behavior, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams.
  • Genuine passion for animals and a deep understanding of the bond between pets and their families.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where ideas, diverse perspectives, and adaptability are essential.
