Job Title: Sales Administrator
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator for a nationally recognized Food Company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, ensuring efficient operations, and contributing to the overall success of our sales efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and motivated individual to be part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment in the consumer packaged goods industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
  • Assist the sales team in managing grocery national accounts by processing orders, managing order entry, and ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide necessary information or assistance.
Data Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales information in the CRM system.
  • Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and other relevant documentation as needed.
  • Generate regular sales reports and contribute to sales forecasting activities.
Customer Communication:
  • Communicate with customers to coordinate shipments, provide order updates, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective and timely communication.
Inventory Coordination:
  • Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to monitor and manage inventory levels.
  • Assist in coordinating product allocations and managing stock levels to meet customer demand.

Sales Team Support:

Qualifications and Skills:
Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Associates Degree or equivalent industry experience acceptable.
Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably with a consumer packaged goods, food, or beverage company preferably with large tier Grocery Retail account experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
