Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a motivated and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and/or sales, with a deep understanding of the market to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within key U.S. markets like food & beverage and FMCG in general. As part of the Siemens Vertical Sales Organization, the Enterprise Account Executive will play a significant role in business generation for the entire Siemens Digital Industries Portfolio relevant to the CPG market. They will work closely with Siemens Sales and customers in the target markets on technical, contractual, and commercial opportunities. This role will have multiple accounts with an associated sales quota. This role reports to the Head of US Growth Accounts for Siemens Consumer Packaged Goods.
Account Manager - DI - US Consumer Packaged Goods Growth Accounts
This position will be based in the continental US near a major airport.
Role Description
You'll make an impact by:
  • Driving Strategic Growth & Executive Engagement: Achieve significant sales growth and exceed revenue targets by developing and executing comprehensive strategic account plans. Cultivate and expand deep, lasting relationships with executive leadership and key decision-makers across your assigned CPG accounts, influencing strategic direction and driving impactful outcomes.
  • Delivering Integrated Siemens Solutions: Leverage the full breadth of the Siemens Digital Industries portfolio, including DI and SI resources, to architect and deliver innovative, impactful solutions. This involves driving specification influence, seamlessly coordinating across Siemens' diverse internal teams (e.g., Vertical Sales, SW Sales, Digital Sales, OEM Sales, Engineering), and actively managing relationships with strategic partners and integrators to ensure successful project execution and amplified market reach.
  • Delivering Measurable Customer Value & Sustainable Growth: Drive rigorous opportunity management and accurate forecasting, fueled by proactive demand generation and in-depth account research. Ensure every solution not only addresses customer challenges but also delivers quantifiable financial outcomes directly impacting their key performance indicators, thereby fostering robust, sustainable growth for both Siemens and our clients within their respective markets.
  • Shaping Market Presence & Strategic Insight: Establish Siemens as a recognized thought leader in the CPG sector. Actively engage with industry associations, conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities, and provide critical feedback to inform our product and strategic direction.
  • Managing US Based Accounts: Serve as the primary Account Executive for critical accounts and for global clients based in the USA, ensuring consistent engagement, alignment, and growth across complex organizational structures.

This position is a remote position with frequent travel to client sites required.
You will win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in direct strategic sales, account planning & management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex solution environments.
  • 5+ years strong understanding of the CPG - Food & Beverage industry including market dynamics, key players, and business drivers.
  • 5+ years proven success navigating diverse sales channels, including direct sales, distributors, and system integrators.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, providing a strong analytical and problem-solving foundation.
  • Deep understanding of Discrete and Process Automation or Digital Transformation solutions, and their application within CPG processes.
  • Siemens Portfolio Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of the Siemens Digital Industries product, solutions, and service portfolio.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sophisticated opportunity pursuit strategies across complex ecosystems (e.g., end-users, engineering firms, system integrators).

The pay range for this position is 109,100.00 - 147,200.00 annually with a target incentive of 50% -60% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
