JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Senior Brand Manager to act as a business owner for several leading eye and ear care brands. This individual will bring a self-starting mindset, strong analytical discipline, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment; can move seamlessly from insight to strategy to execution; and is energized by building brands through consumer insights, media effectiveness, innovation, and strong cross-functional leadership.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
  1. Brand plan development and P&L management - Develop brand plans that achieve company P&L targets, including advertising, promotions, research, innovation, and other brand-building initiatives. Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to drive superior market results. General management capabilities, including forecasting, annual planning, and P&L ownership, are required.
  2. Program management and execution - Manage the day-to-day execution of brand programs, including timeline management, budget ownership, program analysis, and agency coordination. Experience with annual planning and executing digitally focused marketing campaigns, including paid social, SEM, SEO, influencer, organic social, content creation, connected TV/streaming TV, programmatic video, and display.
  3. Market analysis - Analyze consumption, shipment, financial, category, competitive, and marketplace data to identify trends, report on business performance, and uncover growth opportunities. Translate analysis into actionable insights and recommendations that support brand and enterprise decision making.
  4. Sales collaboration and support - Bring strong commercial and brand acumen across brick-and-mortar and ecommerce channels, specifically Amazon and Walmart.com. Partner closely with Sales and Category Management to develop best-in-class retailer presentation materials, selling stories, and customer support resources
QUALIFICATIONS: minimum required combination of education and experience, and knowledge, skills and
abilities that demonstrates proficiency in the above referenced duties:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or MBA in Marketing, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 8 years of related brand marketing experience, including current or prior experience at the Senior Brand Manager level. Client-side brand management experience required; agency experience alone is not sufficient.
  • Preferred: CPG brand management experience with ownership of P&L or meaningful business results; OTC, personal care, HBA, home care, or other consumer healthcare experience preferred. Experience managing agency partners and leading cross-functional teams required. Media strategy, retail media, ecommerce, innovation, pricing, and commercialization experience strongly preferred. Open to DTC CPG experience, but not DTC-only backgrounds.

  • Strategic brand-building skills - Leads development of annual and long-range brand strategy; identifies growth opportunities through consumer, category, competitive, and financial analysis. Brings fresh thinking to brand strategy, consumer engagement, innovation, media activation, and problem solving, while grounding ideas in consumer insight and business objectives.
  • Consumer and category curiosity - Demonstrates curiosity about consumers, shoppers, competitors, culture, and marketplace trends. Proactively seeks out data, insights, and new ideas to uncover growth opportunities and challenge assumptions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - Converts analysis into insights, sustainable strategies, and actionable plans. Able to sort through complex data, identify core issues, and develop clear action plans. Resourceful in achieving objectives and results despite obstacles.
