BASIC FUNCTION: All duties related to the installation of punch-out products, garage doors, doors, windows, trim, etc. This position does a variety of jobs on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains inventory of all installed punch out products including closet shelving, mirrors, bath accessories, shower doors, medicine cabinets and locks.
  • Installs and services all punch out related products in accordance with Tindell's quality and customer satisfaction guidelines.
  • Installs garage doors per manufacturers' specifications.
  • Installs doors, windows and trim.
  • Maintains knowledge of building codes pertaining to installation of garage doors.
  • Responsible for loading, unloading, safety checks, and basic maintenance and care of trucks
  • Assists as needed in warehouse, including stocking, inventory counts, and unloading
  • Completes required paperwork which includes: 1) time worked, 2) material loaded on truck, 3) material used, 4) material returned to inventory
  • Maintains cleanliness of warehouse in accordance with Tindell's safety and administrative policies

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

Experience with basic hand tools

Ability to work on ladders with no fear of heights

Basic construction knowledge

General knowledge of building trades

**MUST BE 21 years old and have or have the ability to obtain the F-endorsement on driver license.**
