General Contractor is seeking a traveling construction superintendent with experience in retail bank construction and refurbishing. The Superintendent will possess: 4+ years commercial construction experience with a focus on financial retail projects. Excellent verbal and written communication needed. Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Trustworthy, self-motivated, passionate and dedicated to high-quality work, thorough knowledge and experience in managing construction trades, strong interpersonal capabilities; able to influence and lead. Responsible for the overall leadership of on-site construction operations. Strong analytical, problem solving, and conflict management skills, and include; daily reports, planning, coordination, and execution of the work so that projects are completed in a high quality and safe manner, meeting budget and schedule objectives. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project) a must. Knowledge of Procore and Plan Grid is a plus. ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS
This position will support projects throught the state
To be successful in this role, the Superintendent will possess:
  • 3-5 years commercial construction experience with a focus on high-end retail projects, particularly financial banking centers.
  • Ability to read construction documents (blue prints)
  • Valid drivers license and pass background check
  • Strong attention to detail. Organized with proficient time management skills.
  • The ability to create, maintain and manage complicated schedules and critical paths.
  • Excellent communication skills; experience interacting with internal and external contacts, examples to include design consultants, such as engineers & architects, sub- contractors, equipment vendors, regulatory officials and agencies.
  • Self-Starter and planner able to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to supervise and lead a construction team to a successful completion.
  • Resourcefulness and creativity.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Trustworthy, self-motivated, passionate and dedicated to high-quality work.
  • Schedule subcontractors and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Produce daily and weekly job reports with photos.
  • Conduct subcontract meetings to discuss job progress and safety
  • Responsible for overall safety on the job site and quality control plan
  • Manage project close- out to include required inspections, commissioning, and completion of the punch list.
