Job Description Summary Arcadis is looking to add additional Construction Managers to join our US Life Sciences Construction Management Team in Cary, NC. The Construction Manager is responsible for all on site construction activities, with the project manager's assistance, on projects ranging from $10M-$50M+. The Construction Manager will have site staff reporting to them and will need to lead and manage teams.

Responsibilities include contractor management, labor management, safety oversite, client management, procurement assistance, and estimating assistance. This role will be in our Cary, NC office, with travel to various project locations in North Carolina. Key Responsibilities Complies with legal requirements, safety and building codes Maintains site records: daily filed reports, RFI's, observations Writes and reviews comprehensive scope of work Collaborates with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists on submittals Assigns, schedules, and coordinates all subcontractor activities Leads all construction meetings (owner's, contractor's, pull plans, schedules, design reviews) Effectively manages and communicates change and controls costs Interfaces at a high level with clients and possesses strong negotiation skills Manages DPS staff on construction sites and mentors senior superintendents Ability to travel as needed to off-site locations Ability to work outside regular business hours Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10+ years in construction.

Life Sciences experience a plus Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or documents Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions OSHA 30-Hour Certification Excellent verbal, written and communications skills Manage Superintendents and other trade foreman Plans for additional resources.
