Job description

This is a vital position in our residential real estate platform, responsible to monitor, report on and schedule work for both our Construction Project Managers and vendors. ย ย The successful applicant will be office based and work closely with construction management to coordinate work with current vendors, and to assist in operations for our field teams. ย We want to talk to you if you have a passion for client service and organization, are experienced in working in operations, and knowledgeable about construction project management processes.

ย This position is based in our downtown Dallas offices, a hybrid schedule will be considered.

The Role:ย ย  This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Monitor acquisition reports to identify homes recently placed under contract for purchase
  • Configure and input property characteristics into a management application used to monitor and document construction job details, progress, and updates
  • Assist with assigning and scheduling tasks to construction PM's by assigned market, and in assigning and scheduling scopes-of-work to approved vendors in each market
  • Regular communication with vendors and PM's to stay current on workflow and issues
  • Ensure the timely and accurate input of all information e.g., budgets, completion dates, etc. into relevant systems
  • Monitor Construction and Maintenance new-hire onboarding trackers to support smooth and consistent team member onboarding.
  • Work with Construction Project Managers and Vendor Management on vendor needs within the Evergreen platform
  • Work on other construction operational activities as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities to interact effectively with a variety of people inside and outside of the organization.

  • High School diploma and/or 3 years equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of the residential building/remodel construction industry a plus
  • Experience with construction project management processes and procedures
  • Ability to coordinate multiple parties and hold accountable to project timelines
  • Technology: ย proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, with Foto-notes or similar experience strongly advantageous
  • Collaborative team player
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Able to continually assess and improve processes
  • Analytical mindset, adept at problem solving
