Job description

Perma-Seal Basement Systems is seeking an experienced Operations Manager - Attic Insulation to lead the performance, growth, and day-to-day operations of our attic insulation division.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for developing field teams, driving operational excellence, improving installation quality, and ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and with an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate has extensive attic insulation experience and a proven ability to lead people, improve processes, and deliver results.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop installation teams, crew leaders, and the Technical Field Specialist.
  • Establish installation standards, field procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor quality, production, safety, customer satisfaction, and warranty performance.
  • Conduct job site visits, quality inspections, and coach teams to improve performance.
  • Develop training programs and mentor installers to ensure consistent, high-quality workmanship.
  • Resolve complex installation issues and customer escalations.
  • Partner with Sales, Production, and Customer Care to ensure projects are completed successfully.
  • Recruit, interview, and develop top field talent while driving continuous improvement across the division.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on residential attic insulation installation experience required.
  • Previous leadership experience in attic insulation, weatherization, or residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of blown-in insulation, batt insulation, air sealing, attic ventilation, insulation removal, and residential building science.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, improve operational performance, and drive quality.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
