Creativity, problem-solving, adaptability, and effective communication are crucial soft skills in this field. These abilities drive successful project delivery, foster continuous improvement, and help organizations stay competitive in a rapidly evolving industry.

What are construction innovations?

Construction innovations refer to new methods, technologies, materials, or processes that improve the efficiency, safety, sustainability, and quality of construction projects. These innovations can include advancements like modular construction, 3D printing, the use of drones, building information modeling (BIM), and sustainable building materials. The goal is to address common industry challenges such as high costs, labor shortages, and environmental concerns. By adopting innovative solutions, construction companies can deliver projects faster, safer, and with less waste.

What is the difference between Construction Innovations vs Construction Estimator?

Job description

Clark Pacific has been a leading manufacturer of prefabricated building systems for over 63 years. We are transforming design and construction by delivering high-quality, cost-effective buildings with less risk. With over five decades of proven experience and industry-leading products, we breathe new life into construction with a smarter, more efficient path from design to project completion.

To help us continue our mission to advance industrialized construction innovations and products for a safer, more sustainable, and predictable building environment, we are seeking experienced structural and construction engineers to join our team.

Role Snapshot

This role supports complex projects and contributes to engineering project delivery and growth-related initiatives. It is well suited for engineers who have developed a strong technical foundation and are ready to broaden their scope, take on increased responsibility, and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of structural systems.

Our engineering roles offer flexibility in focus and may emphasize engineering project execution, coordination across many disciplines, client and partner interactions, and support of business development efforts depending on experience and interest. This is a growth opportunity for engineers looking to expand their impact while continuing to build technical depth and professional credibility.

  • Mid-level engineering opportunity for structural or construction engineers with 3–7 years of experience
  • Technically-grounded role rooted in structural and construction engineering, emphasizing practical application of technical skills that impact real-world project delivery and system implementation
  • Exposure to broader responsibilities, including project coordination, client interaction, and growth initiatives
  • This role aligns with responsibilities typically associated with Structural Engineer or Project Engineer roles in the structural engineering and construction industries
  • An opportunity to expand beyond isolated design tasks and engage fully in project execution
  • A role that supports development toward senior engineering, project management, or leadership paths

What You Will Do

  • Help to shape the future of industrialized construction by supporting leadingedge structural building innovation—your work will influence how buildings are engineered, manufactured, and delivered
  • Participate in the development and implementation of strategies that advance leadingedge structural system development and delivery, driving toward successful project outcomes.
  • Act as a coach and mentor other team members by sharing technical expertise
  • Participate in client and partner collaboration and business development efforts
  • Contribute to systems that significantly reduce embodied carbon, construction waste, and risk

What You Bring

  • 3-7 years of structural and construction engineering experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline required
  • EIT or PE preferred

Our Core Values

  • Determination: Meet challenges head on
  • Innovation: Always look for better
  • Well-Being: Seek the success, health, and happiness of all

Our Approach to Sustainability
