Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Construction Foreman to lead crews on residential and/or commercial construction projects. The Construction Foreman will be responsible for supervising daily operations on-site, coordinating labor and materials, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities and crews

  • Interpret and implement construction plans, blueprints, and project specifications

  • Monitor work progress and ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met

  • Delegate tasks and oversee subcontractors and laborers

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

  • Communicate project status, issues, and needs to project managers and stakeholders

  • Perform hands-on construction work when needed to support project deadlines

  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials

  • Document daily site activity, deliveries, weather conditions, and labor hours

  • Resolve issues and troubleshoot problems that arise during construction

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Foreman or similar supervisory role in construction

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and safety regulations

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical documents

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage crews, schedules, and multiple tasks under pressure
