Construction Foreman โ€“ Lead Site Operations from Groundbreak to Completion

Job Overview

The Opportunity You will serve as a pivotal field leader, directing daily operations and guiding your crew through the entire lifecycle of high-stakes civil projects. This role offers the unique stability of managing a single site from start to finish within a family-oriented company that values quality over volume. You will have the autonomy to drive project success while receiving dedicated support from our superintendents.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Direct day-to-day field operations, leading a dedicated crew to ensure all site activities align with project schedules.
  • Interpret complex blueprints and civil plans to execute precise rough and final grading requirements.
  • Oversee the comprehensive installation of critical infrastructure, including storm pipes, sewer pipes, and water lines.
  • Manage the construction of retention and detention ponds in strict accordance with engineering specifications and environmental regulations.
  • Validate that all field work meets or exceeds technical plans and quality standards to minimize rework and delays.
  • Coordinate closely with the Superintendent to manage equipment logistics and material deliveries for the job site.
  • Mentor crew members on-site, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and long-term professional growth.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience leading civil construction crews through site development and utility installation.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret civil engineering plans and site specifications.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with grading, pond construction, and wet utility installation.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 3 or more years of related work experience in a leadership or Foreman capacity.
  • Strong technical proficiency in heavy equipment operation and site layout.
  • Experience delivering projects within the commercial, industrial, or federal sectors.
