Job description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an assistant superintendent for a Residential Home Builder. In this role, you will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure the successful completion of residential construction projects. If you have a strong background in construction and a passion for delivering high-quality homes, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

· Construction Oversight: Assist the Superintendent in the construction process, including material handling, ordering and returning construction materials.

· Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project schedules.

· Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

· Problem Solving: Identify and address construction-related challenges, proposing solutions to ensure the successful completion of the project.

· Customer Service: Ability to communicate with homeowners, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the construction process.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and permits.

· Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all workers on-site.

Qualifications:

· Construction Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in residential construction preferred, including knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
